I AM Help meet hear me roar!

The most important thing I do is also the most rewarding.

That is raising my children. Raising my children to be happy, healthy well functioning adults. As part of that it is my dream to be able to stay home with them. I applaud working mothers and for all of their sacrifices that they make on a daily basis for their children and family. I know that if it came to that I could do it but it would so hard to leave my children on a daily basis even if for only a few hours. On that train of thought I want to do every thing I can to help my family financially. I really want to be able to contribute as the economy isn't the best, my husband is still in school and we are a young family. There are a few ways I hope to achieve this one being this blog along with my other one. I'm hoping to reach an audience that relates to me and we can work together to build better futures. Another way is my YouTube account (notice link?) I also am working on building up my Etsy shop to be worthy enough to mention in a common blog such as this.

One of the last proactive ways (of course not including budgeting and couponing) is this thing I started doing called ZeekRewards. All I have to do is place one ad a day like so:

Get BOGO bids on Zeekler to win laptops, electronics, cash and much more at up to 95% off. https://www.zeekler.com/securesignup.asp?username=megorozco

and there I go I can earn an income from just doing that. It will increase of course if you click on my link and visit my on-line store, bid on items that will benefit you and me and possibly even join yourself to begin an income from home. I know plenty of people doing this and after just a few months they have quite a bit of money. Our family vehicle is barely holding on and I'm hoping to use the money I earn from this to buy a new vehicle for my family. I hope you will support me and I can help support you all as well! At least check out the link above there is no harm in doing so and hey you might like what you see!

Cloth Diaper Smart!

First let me just say if you haven't yet jumped into the world of cloth diapering you really should! It's not like it used to be, there is a whole world out there of convenient and modern cloth diapers just waiting for your child's bum!

Alright so now lets get into it! I'm so excited to be talking about this you don't even know :) When I first started my journey into cloth diapering I had already known a bit about it because of all the people on YouTube I like to watch had informational videos. I also knew that cloth diapering was way cheaper than using disposable (not to mention all of the other wonderful benefits). That being said I don't like making really large purchases at one time no matter what it is and having no idea which would be my favorite I wanted to take it slow. I told myself I would only buy them if they were on sale. I was already familiar with some bargain sites so I kept my eye out for cloth diaper sales on those, and that is when I started purchasing my first cloth diapers.

I went this way for a while and thought it would be fun to buy from a site that had deals and customer loyalty programs but I just didn't know which one to go with. So many had good reviews but it really bothered me to pay so much shipping! I decided to focus on work at home mom businesses because I believe in supporting other mothers. I was perfectly content with my decisions thus far knowing there was no place local I could go so I figured shipping was just going to have to be a fact of purchasing cloth online.

Little Did I Know....
I was about to discover jackbenatural.com!
Not only did jack be natural have good prices already on cloth diapers they ALWAYS ship FREE! I was so excited when I made my first purchase and even more so when TWO days later I got my fluff mail! I cannot believe how fast they ship, especially with free shipping. That is their "saying" after all "Jack ships quick, jack ships free".

You would think that would be enough to sell anyone on how great of a deal this is but it gets even better. They offer for free to get what is called a "jacks nap sack" and it's a little fabric sac that your stuff will come in and it's really great. My husband even liked it and thinks they are great for holding things around the house. Of course you can opt out but I recommend at least getting one to see what it's like!

On top of that let's discuss the FREE samples! My favorite is a sample of their crunchy clean cloth diaper safe laundry detergent (which you can also purchase on their site). I have also gotten a sample of natural sun screen, which I have yet to try living in such a rainy place :0

Now their not done yet! You also get "jacks cash" where you get 7% of the purchase you get back in store credit for your next purchase!  That works out to $1 for every $15 you spend. Can it get any better? It's almost unbelievable that any other site makes money when they are out there! I have made several purchases from them and plan on many more.

If your looking into cloth diapering or need to increase your stash for not too much money I would check them out as soon as this blog post is done! The customer service is wonderful too and if you "like" their facebook fan page their is a coupon on their for your first time purchase. And for a limited time a contest is going on to take a photo of your jackbenautral purchases and enter to try to win $25 dollars in jacks cash.

Okay okay I'll stop but seriously they don't just sell cloth diapers they have a lot of different things so go right now... GO check them out!

Easy, Smart and Quick tips for coupon newbies!

So the economy isn't doing so hot right now, you have heard about this coupon craze going on and all these people are shopping on a budget and getting everything they want and more. Maybe a few people you have seen go a little crazy with the coupons and it scared you off a little. You think what do I want with 500 rolls of toilet paper or 100 tooth brushes?! well that is something that often happens with current fads. People get so excited about saving money or the prices of things that they buy way too much and their houses become filled like mini hoarders!

The great thing is it does not have to be that way! You can save money and get what you need without going overboard. That is why I'm writing this, to share a few tips to keep in mind when you start your new adventures of couponing or you want to scale back what you are doing because you realize you are spending MORE now that before you started couponing.

Okay so here we go!

Tip #1: Make a list- What I like to do is sit down and write out (or type it if you feel more comfortable on the computer) what we need. The last thing you want to do is get so excited about a savings on something that you forget that you don't even need/want what is on sale. Think about it if you don't like black olives but you find a deal on them and buy 10 cans of them what are you doing to do with them? They are just going to sit in your cupboards taking up space and eventually expire. Then you wasted your money and your space and sanity (trust me every time you open your cabinets to get something and see a whole bunch of something you cannot stand you will kick yourself)

After I make a list of the things we need and could use for our food storage I make another shorter list right next to it and this is perhaps just as if not more important that the list of what you need.

That is a list of stores you like to go to. One must be practical about where they are going to shop. If there is a deal on bread at a store you never go to because it's either too far away or everything else there is so expensive that is all you would be going their for then you are wasting gas, time and energy for a trivial purpose. The point of couponing is to help save money not add to your expenses. So make sure you know which stores you are going to it will not only insure you are going to where you frequent but also in helping find specific coupons you need.

Tip #2 sign up with some coupon sites online- The good thing about online is you can get them for free (never pay for coupons!) and then you can print out the ones you want instead of dealing with ones you don't want. Also if you already know where local deals are for the week you can keep that in mind and find coupons that you can use with other discounts already applied.

Tip#3 sign up for rewards cards from your local stores- if you have stores with free rewards cards it's a good idea to have them. Even if the store gives the discount without the rewards card it's always a bonus. Many times you will get rewards in the mail for things on discounts you wouldn't normally get and sometimes even free items. Also there are stores that offer discounts on gas. If your already shopping there you might as well be rewarded for it! Since it is all electronic they know what your purchasing and will send you coupons for relevant things you want. I recently signed up for a rewards program at Safeway that with the online account you can click which coupons you want and they automatically go onto the card so at checkout instead of holding a bunch of coupons it's on the card when they swipe it or you enter your number.

Tip #4- Make sure the coupons do not have restrictions- Sometimes you have to read the fine print and make sure they are not saying you cannot use more than one coupon or other restrictions that will limit other coupons you have. If they are good coupons and you want to use them just make sure it's not at a time when you want to apply other discounts that will not work.

So there is a million more things I could say but I just wanted to put those few tips out there. The bottom line really is to do the front work so that your not scrambling at the register confused and end up spending more than you wanted to. The point of couponing is to save you not to cause you more stress or more money.... so go on check out these sites below and start saving!!!!!

An introduction is in order

Hello everyone in the inter webs :)

I wanted to start out introducing myself a little so everyone who comes across my blog can know what my purpose for creating this webpage is. I already have a Blogspot with my life as a young mom followed with a Facebook and YouTube. The thing about those is I didn't really start out with sharing that I was Mormon and although I am not hiding it I wanted to feel limitless in my expression of being a Mormon and my lifestyle in that respect. I decided that I would keep the blogspot and just add another one. That way I could express myself in a comfortable way for everyone. I do not believe in forcing beliefs on anyone so I didn't want my other readers to feel that way.

So moving forward with my new blog address I'm so excited to get started! One thing that I think is important to understand is that living on a budget is not just for "cheap" people or "poor" people. If you want to be able to afford a certain lifestyle no matter how much you make then having a budget is a smart thing to do. That is why I will be sharing ways that my family saves and ways that we will be saving for future life plans. So let me get on with talking about the most wonderful part.... my family!

We are currently a family of four consisting of my husband Ramon, my daughter Renee, my son Ramon and well me of course! We started out young and have been working very hard to align ourselves completely with God's plan. We have made our mistakes and I'm sure we will make more but we are striving to live Christ like lives and to show those that know us that everyone makes mistakes but it doesn't mean you should give up or let others tell you you are some how not christian or that you should live feeling guilty instead of focusing on repentance and changing behaviors.

Due to the current presidential election year there has been a lot more "buzz" about Mormons. Unfortunately so many things have been skewed about Mormons and our beliefs that many of those that did not know anything before are probably more confused that ever! Hopefully I can help to break some of those myths about Mormons along the way at least for those that come across my blog. I hope to show that just because a person makes mistakes or doesn't do everything that others expect them to does not mean that the gospel of Jesus Christ is flawed. It is humans that are flawed and that is true even if you do not believe in God at all.

I love my father in Heaven and I pray that I can make a difference with this blog and share my life in a positive way and create the best life for my family possible.

Thank you for stopping by and please show your support by following my blog!
